Shipping and Delivery

Our usual deliveries are made door to door via FedEx, however other options may be available. If you have any questions regarding this matter please send us an email to info@thewinesbox.com
FedEx will make three delivery attempts in three consecutive days. If this cannot be done, the package will be available for pickup for 3 days at FedEx offices. After that period, the package will be destroyed. It will not be the responsibility of The Wines Box for not having complied with it.
Shipments are made only where the Law allows us, we do not ship to Arkansas, Delaware, Mississippi, Rhode Island and Utah. It is your responsibility to know the restrictions of your place of residence regarding the reception of alcoholic beverages, The Wines Box assumes that users make the purchase knowing that they do not violate the Law. We do not ship to APOs, FPOs or PO Boxes.
When you place an order with The Wines Box, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom the order is being sent is also at least 21 years of age. All orders shipped by The Wines Box require an adult signature upon delivery.
We recommend that you place your order at a personal, work or commercial address where an adult over 21 years of age is present to receive it. Any extra expenses caused by non-delivery attributable to the Client will be borne by the Buyer and will not be recognized by The Wines Box. These are as examples: a) Not having a person at home to receive the package. b) There must not be a person over 21 to receive the package. c) Cost of transportation for picking up the package at FedEx offices.
The Wines Box reserves the right to refuse any order, state and local policy governs all transactions.

Shipping Times
Shipping times are estimated for informational purposes only.
Orders are processed and delivered to FedEx generally within 48 business hours of receipt and the time it takes to reach your door is usually 3 to 10 business days, however due to conditions beyond our control, in some cases there could be a delay.
Delays
Delivery times are time estimates and are not guaranteed and there may be circumstances of delays beyond our control such as weather conditions, natural disasters, pandemics, wars, worker strikes, seasonal congestion, holidays, customs inspections, addresses in areas remote or inaccessible or other reasons.
Free Shipping
Free Shipping may be available on certain Categories or Products by ordering a minimum of eligible items and according to the final destination of delivery.
Once the purchase is made, if you cancel any product or change your shipping address, it could affect the Free Shipping option. Check in our Store the applicable products and the minimum purchase amounts according to the Country and/or Region of delivery.
Sales Taxes
All prices expressed in the Store DO NOT include sales taxes, which will be reflected at the time of payment when the order is finalized.
Import Taxes, Duties and Customs Fees
Import taxes, duties and/or customs fees are your sole responsibility as you are responsible for ensuring that the product can be legally imported into your Country of residence. In all cases, the recipient (buyer user) is the importer and must comply with the laws and regulations of the Country of destination of the shipment, you must take into account that orders may be subject to taxes, duties and customs fees for import applied by the destination country, such charges must be paid by the recipient (buying user), The Wines Box has no control or management over them and we cannot predict if they will be applied.
All wines go from The Wines Box to the buyer in the Argentine Republic and the buyer assumes all responsibility for shipping to their Country/State. When selecting a wine shipping method, The Wines Box provides a service and acts on behalf of the buyer. By using this service of The Wines Box, the buyer represents that he acts in a manner that complies with the local and state laws of his Country of residence regarding the purchase, transportation, import and delivery of wine. The buyer declares that he has the required permits and will pay the necessary import taxes, duties and customs fees, and has the legal right to take possession of the wine and to take the requested quantities.
